TRAVEL – trek america’s grand trek: lafayette, louisiana

travel - trekamericas grand trek day 34 lafayette louisianaWhat can I say about Austin? It was simp awesome! But it was time to head to New Orleans via a pit stop at Lafayette.

I’m not going to lie, today simply consisted of driving, eating and sleeping – so it’s a pretty short post!

We arrived into Lafayette KOA in good time to set up our tents and head straight to the pool. It was so hot and humid – like unbearably hot, so we all had a few soft drinks to try and cool us down. With humidity comes mosquitos, and they just seemed to love me! Hello leg bites! So I escaped to the air conditioned laundry room (well, I did have laundry to do too), before Matty and Dave cooked tea.

Tonight was a pretty chilled night, all of the girls bar Emma who wasn’t feeling well and Steph, watched True Blood. I’ve never seen it before and I actually enjoyed it!

We then went to bed and tried to get some sleep before two busy days in New Orleans!
