With Christmas only a day away, here are my six favourite must-have items! Hint hint!

1. Petites Biker Trench, £85, Miss Selfridge – I have been looking for a nice coat for ages, and this Miss Selfridge biker trench is perfect to keep me going this Winter! I know, I know, it doesn’t exactly scream out ‘WINTER COAT’, but for £85 it’s not only on trend – the leather touch reminds me of DKNY – but I can also layer it up with my gorgeous green tartan scarf too!

2. Loverdose by Diesel, £28.50 for 30ml, The Perfume Shop – Loverdose is my favourite perfume in the entire world, so how could I not add this into my Christmas wishlist? It’s perfectly packaged and I love its floral scent! One of my best friends bought me this for my 21st birthday, but you can never have too much perfume, right?

3. White Friendship Bracelet By Marc By Marc Jacobs, £40, Harvey Nichols – I’m not usually into my designer gear (I’m more of a high street/vintage girl), but I love this Marc by Marc Jacobs friendship bracelet! It’s so simple but yet sophisticated, and it will go with anything and everything!

4. Alexander Wang Knockoff Bag, £37.99, eBay – Remember last year’s Christmas wishlist, where I had my eyes set on a gorgeous leather multi-strap Alexander Wag tote? Well here is the knock-off version! It may not be the real thing, but I would love to get my hands on it!

5. Project #3 Black Sequin Body, £39, Miss Selfridge – You may have noticed that Miss Selfridge is one of my favourite shops, and as I was having my daily peruse of their website, my eyes were instantly drawn to this gorgeous sequin body! At £39 it may be pricey, but add these Missguided leather shorts and some peep-toe shoe boots from River Island, and you’ll be Belle of the New Year’s Eve Ball!

6. Black Embellished Shorts, £45, River Island – And finally, I have been after some high-waisted embellished shorts for a while now, and these are the PERFECT pair for me! Embellishment is big this season with the likes of Balmain, Jenny Packham and Mark Fast sending their models down the runway with these party-inspired pieces. Just add a plain white H&M vest, and these killer Topshop heels to finish the outfit off.

What’s on your Christmas wishlist this year?

Going on holiday soon? Well, whilst you have your Fifty Shades of Grey packed in your handbag, let’s not forget summer’s must-have essential – a pair of shades to protect those peeps of yours! And who needs one pair, when The Live Scene has fifty of them at your disposal?

Even though we only have one month of summer left (boo!), we still need a pair of sunglasses to see us through the remainder of August (get what I did there?) Here, I have found a range of shades – from designer to high street, from £1 to £200 – there is a pair to suit everyone’s needs!

My favourites have to be the two pairs of Karen Walker shades, as well as the classic Chanel-inspired half tint sunglasses, as seen on the likes of style icons Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie. You can get these designer dupes from eBay for only $9.99!

Sunglasses are not only a summer fashion essential, but they also protect your eyes from the harmful UV rays from the sun. These blue Arnette Agent sunglasses are perfect if you want to have a cool down by the pool, whilst at the same time protecting your peepers! Whilst some shades may look fun – who can forget Paris Hilton’s and Kanye West’s trademark ‘raver’ sunglasses – you have got to remember that unless you want crow’s feet or eye damage – and trust me, who wants that? You’ve got to care for those beautiful eyes of yours! And with these fifty shades at your disposal, you can look good and feel fine at the same time!

One fashion designer which caught my eye during fashion week was Henry Holland, and specifically his designs for top department store, Debenhams.

Intro to Henry Holland
I love Holland’s quirky designs and just like me, he studied Journalism at university. He was catapulted to fame five years ago due his fashion slogan tees, which had eccentric catchphrases such as “Get your freak on Giles Deacon”. Since then, House of Holland (he’s designer brand name) has grown more popular with the fashion crowd, with his designs available to buy in not only prestigious stores such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, but you can buy the British designer’s collection from international stockists including Barneys and Opening Ceremony.

Holland’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection
For the Autumn/Winter 2011 season, House of Holland focused on bright colours and clothing detail such as pearl appliqued sleeves. His inspiration you ask? Bingo halls and country living – who would of thought bingo halls would be inspiring?

I love these outfits because of their eccentricity! Holland is certainly working the boyish trend as well as incorporating a subtle hint of fetish with the use of intricate pearls to create the look of a bodice on outfit number two. Outfit three is definitely the look I would wear, the jumper is quite tongue-in-cheek, and clashes really nicely with the dress.

H! by Henry Holland
Aside from his pretty Paris Eiffel tower jumpers, H! By Henry Holland (which is his brand for Debenhams), has some beautiful and inspirational pieces which I just had to incorporate below!

Here are the items I am currently coveting at the moment from left to right:

#1 Navy ‘Peter Pan’ Collar Top – £20, #2 Red Tartan across Body Handbag – £30, #3 Navy ‘Hester’ Moccasin Shoes – £35, #4 Blue Daisy Print Wellington Boots -£25, #5 Navy Polka Dot Shorts – £22, #6 Mustard Zebra Print Blouse, £17.50.

Henry Holland’s clothes are not only beautiful and quirky, but they are also affordable! I suggest you go to his website and snap up some of his designs quick!
