Travel restrictions have been put in place in the United States, including a ban on the use of mobile phones, laptops, and video game consoles while traveling.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement that passengers traveling to Arizona, California, Florida, Texas, and Utah will be required to have at least one device with a smartphone, laptop, or video game console on board.
The restriction applies to all international flights from any of these states, the statement added.
There will also be a limit on the number of phones and tablets that may be used while traveling in each state.
Those who don’t meet the requirement will be subject to a $100 fine.
