It’s our second day in Yellowstone, and I have to say, it’s going to be more of a photo diary!
After quite a chilled day yesterday at the springs and the river, we all got our hiking boots on, had breakfast and headed to Mount Washburn for a five mile hike.

I have to say, this was a tough hike – the elevation was 10,000ft! Going at our own casual paces, we all finally made it to the top of the mountain and took plenty of stunning pictures along way and at the observatory, where we also refueled with lunch.

Then it was time to head back down (which I have to say, was so much easier). Once we finished the hike, we went to the swimming hole to cool off and relax. I wasn’t feeling very well (due to dehydration – drink water kids) and sat in the shade.
I was also supposed to be cooking dinner at camp tonight but the boys let me have the night off, so I had tea and quickly headed to bed to hopefully make myself feel better for Jackson Hole and Grand Teton tomorrow!
